In the “Links” analysis, you can find the interesting connections between words by zooming in, when you stop on one of them, the links between words will be more obvious! You can select keywords that you would like to investigate on the bottom left corner

You can click the picture to jump to the Voyant tool to learn more about the correlations between terms and try out more different tools!

Cirrus of Words Related to the Government’s Response to SARS

Links of Words Related to the Government’s Response to SARS

Description of the Links

As a response, the government reserved fiscal resources for emergency usage. Words like “quarantine”, “isolation”, “tracing” and “contact”, demonstrate that the government took quarantine as a measure to prevent the public from being infected by the SARS patients. Hospitals had a strong relationship with control and infection. Thus, facilities were reserved for quarantine. Words like “Wales”, “Princess”, “Queen” and “8a” demonstrate the institutions for hospitalisation. Furthermore, the government traced close-contact personas to detect potential disease carriers. Also, the government prepared more protective equipment, like facemasks or PPE, to prevent people from being infected. Surgical masks, N95, were having a significant performance on it.
